The Hill & Hifi is a team of individuals whose careers collectively span over 40 years. With multi platinum and gold awards for engineering, mixing, production, radio promotion, and chart topping singles, we are proven and up to the task of making records that will compete in the real world.
We believe that making records is a true process of creativity. Having worked in many world class recording studios around the globe where the vibe was at times less than comfortable, It was our goal to set up a studio, located in Manhattan's upper westside, where the atmosphere was homey and never sterile. At The Hill & Hifi Recording Studio, the technical process of making records is in the background. At the same time we provide world class equipment and skilled engineering, ensuring that the quality of what is being recorded is never compromised.
Having had our hands in many major label recording projects, we have great insight into what an industry executive looks for in a finished record. This not only goes for record labels, but radio stations, managers, and record promoters who need to be excited by what they are listening to, giving them confidence to get involved. What brings us the most satisfaction is working with the independent music community - bands, singers, songwriters, and aspiring producers who are hungry to reach new levels of creativity and success.

Our amazing team of Radio Promoters is lead by veteran record promoter Gary Lefkowith. Full-on national radio campaigns will help propel your project to the next level. Getting your video played on Fuse and MTV is next to impossible if you're not on a major label. The Hill & Hifi can get you that kind of exposure with radio play. We can also consult and guide you and your project through the process of setting up an indie record label, iTunes distribution, and internet and college radio promotion.
